How we communicate with babies is a learning experience for everyone. They are phenomenally smart. You will notice your baby watching you intently, trying to understand and figure out what you are doing and saying. They are for the most part passive participants in their care and in the world around them. As parents we have a unique opportunity to learn how to listen and honor our babies’ wishes and no, you do not have to be a baby whisperer!
